How it works: Immageo imports your selected photo collection by creating a copy as an Immageo album. Leaving the originals intact. The new Immageo album is presented as thumbnails alongside a panel which switches to show Calendar, Notes, Map or Info. Maps: The Map panel displays a global map and satellite imaging that can be panned, scanned and zoomed, for the selected photo if already geo-tagged. Manual geo-tagging is done from here. Calendar: Displays time and date of each photo as recorded by the digital camera. Also used for timed searches. |
Notes:
The Notes panel is used to add tags specific to the thumbnail highlighted and notes relevant to the photo. Tag-based Image searches are made from this panel. Info: The Info panel displays EXIF data (generated and stored with each photo by digital cameras), including time, date and camera settings in use. Immageo embeds geo-tag longitude and latitude coordinates as a part of the EXIF data. By using each of the panels you can locate your photos on a map, add notes about your trip or event and tag them for future reference. It really is that simple. |
